First private Lung Clinic opens Salounge in Austria
The Netherlands, 3. August 2010
Microsalt has recently installed her Dry Salt Aerosol Inhalation solution at a privately operated lung clinic in Moedling, Austria. Dr. C. Wildner, owner of the clinic, has performed an extensive evaluation of available Dry Salt Aerosol solutions during spring 2010.
Dr. Med. Joachim Riethmüller joins Microsalt Advisory Board
The Netherlands, 2. June 2010
Today, Microsalt is proud to announce that Dr. Med. Joachim Riethmüller has joined the advisory board of Microsalt.
About Microsalt
In July 2005, Microsalt initiator Bart Zonnenberg decided to learn more about the phenomenon of halotherapy and speleotherapy. As a result of the solutions available at that time to create controlled dry salt aerosol microclimates, Microsalt decided to invest in technology that would meet the specifications demanded by independent physicians who have experience with the results that halotherapy can offer to people with dysfunctions on airways or skin.
Market Concepts
Microsalt believes it is important to offer attractive market solutions. For this reason, Microsalt develops concepts to ensure optimal fit-to-market. In order to create the optimal fit-to-market, it is important not only to market a concept well but also to fulfill the right technological requirements of every specific market. The combination of the right technology, materials and services, at the right place will make the Dry Salt Aerosol solutions available to large groups of people in the future.
Installation and after sales support
Installation of a Dry Salt Aerosol environment requires special expertise. Our people have vast expertise on air flow behavior and understand the impact of criteria like temperature and humidity on airborne salt aerosol particles.
Based on the physical location where a Dry Salt Aerosol environment is installed, Microsalt works out a detailed plan in collaboration with her customer. On average the installation, testing and calibration of the technology takes from 0,5 day up to 2 days.
Salt quality
Microsalt has performed extensive testing on various salts available today. Based on salt aerosol behavior in the air, experience of her customers and because there is no evidence available yet that inhalation of mineral rich salt is healthy, Microsalt uses the purest sodium chloride available to the market today.
Climatization & Drying
A Microsalt Salounge microclimate consists of clean dried air that is brought inside the room on a predefined temperature. The air supply is constant as well as the exhaust of it.
Microsalt uses adsorption dryer devices as well as proprietary air conditioning device that manages temperatures throughout the year.
Micronizer
The Micronizer forms the heart of our concepts. The Micronizer processes the salt and creates a Salt Aerosol with a particle range suited to penetrate deeply into the airways, reaching from sinuses to alveoli.
Microsalt offers a range of Micronizers, reaching from low-cost, easy-to-use Micronizers that require manual refilling up to fully automated, internet-enabled devices that require no handling during the day.
Microsalt Micronizers require a minimum of service and labor. This makes an investment in our micronizer interesting while the operating costs (labor and salt) are very low.
Create your Salounge
A Salounge consists of a relaxation room and adjacent technology room. Depending on where the Salounge is situated, an entrance room might be needed to ensure that humidity stays outside the room (e.g. when the Salounge is located close to a swimming pool.
All 3 rooms are actively dried to ensure an optimal climate for respiratory cleaning services and to avoid that the building materials can corrode.
The following technology components create the Dry Salt Aerosol climate required:
