What type of salt is used in a Microsalt Salounge?

Despite all the marketing buzz around mineral-rich Himalaya salts and sea salts, Microsalt does not use these. Main reason is that there is no proof that the inhalation of other minerals than NaCl is healthy for the airways. For this reason, Microsalt uses the cleanest salt available today. The salt comes from an earth layer in the north of Denmark and is used for infusion treatments and inhalation treatments only. It has medicinal certifications for all European countries, the Americas and Asian countries. It also is a relatively young salt which results in aerosol particles that are a lot less sharp than that of old salts like Himalaya salt. It therefore also does not cause side-effects like irritation on the eyes or sore throat.
